DANCE AS AN EXPERIENCE OF TRUST. How the control of oneself and of the other affects the harmony of the dancing couple

In this conversation we would like to propose a reading of the dance as an experience that, although limited to a particular activity and context, “tells something” about us, our attitude and our way of moving, in life and in relationships with others. We will focus in particular on how, during the dance, we can more or less consciously try to control ourselves, the other and what happens within the couple. We will then try, through a practical activity and a subsequent group discussion, to experience how it is possibile, starting from trust, to move from “making the other dance” to “dancing with the other”, and how this interpretation can be useful also in other relational areas.
