Giulia Tomasi and Nicola Milani will lead the free talk:
RELATIONAL DYNAMICS WITHIN THE SELF-HELP GROUPS: CAN THEY BE VALUABLE TOOLS IN/FOR CONSTRUCTIVISM?
Self-Help Groups are a significant resource which provides people a valuable support out of the conventional Institutions. How is the role of the facilitator integrating within these groups? What are the limits and the potentialities of this figure? The constructivist approach allows to enlarge these reflections considering the facilitator as an expert of the processes occurring within the group and their participants. The constructivist point of view puts the person himself, not only his symptoms, at the centre of attention, and presents Self-Help groups as an extremely perturbative resource for the people who have access to it. In this context, the facilitator is not “above” the group, but a part of it, and his goal is to promote and facilitate all the changing processes of the members and to unsettle the whole system.
The admission is free but reservation is required. Please, contact us at +39 049 8751669 or icp.scuola@gmail.com
