On Thursday 19th April 2018, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Elena Sagliocco e Chiara Lui will led the free workshop:
The diagnosis as encounter
In psychology we can find different ways to make a diagnosis, deriving them from as many ways to consider “what is” a person and to understand his/her suffering. Starting from constructivist epistemological premises, the diagnosis cannot aim to reach an objective and replicable definition of the other, but we consider it as an interpretation within a relationship. Is it possible to see the diagnosis as an encounter between two people? What kind of experience does it represent? What makes it different from other experiences in the everyday life? What gives to it a scientific value? These are some of the questions that we will share during the workshop, trying to give them answers together.
Elena Sagliocco, Psychologist and Psychotherapist, Teacher of the ICP School of Constructivist Psychotherapy; Chiara Lui, Psychologist and Psychotherapist, Teacher of the ICP School of Constructivist Psychotherapy.
